2:45-3 PM / The Fledgling group will meet up and socialize prior to being divided into teams of 3 or 4 children. Teams will be accompnaied by a parent(s) other than their own, so the group can get to know each other and keep it fun.

3-5 PM / Each team will strategize for the first 45 minutes and decide on a team name and team captain. The hunt till send the kids up and down Palisades Avenue looking for and obtaining small items. Several stores (i.e. Benjamin Paints, McDonald’s, etc.) are participating. The teams must work together, compromise and lean on each other to finish first. The team will return to a specified location for food, prizes adn end-of-race celebtration! Rain or Shine…kids will hunt!

There was a mother’s social event the same evening as the abovementioned Fledgling activity. Each mom who participated couldn’t wait to tell the rest of our group how Fab-U-lous this activity was for the children and the parents. The Bergen-Passaic Chapter is proud to share this innovative programming concept with our fellow chapters.
