Christopher Collins-McNeil is a 2012 alumnus of the Mid-Hudson Valley chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. He is currently featured as one of New York City’s Rising Stars “Forty Under Forty.”
Christopher most recently served New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio at City Hall in the Intergovernmental Affairs Department as a Research and Policy Analyst. Prior to joining the de Blasio administration Christopher worked for the then-Councilman and Mayoral candidate of Baltimore City, the Hon. Nick J. Mosby.
As an undergraduate student at the State University of New York at Oswego, Collins-McNeil served eight thousand students as their Student Government Association (SGA) President, SGA Director of Civic Engagement, WTOP-10TV news anchor, resident assistant, and SGA senator. He completed his baccalaureate degree early in January 2016. Christopher had the distinct honor to serve as the first student moderator of Al Roker’s Dr. Lewis B. O’ Donnell Media Summit which brought together industry professionals from CBS, Mic.com, and WSYR-TV.
In his spare time, Christopher loves traveling, gallivanting up and down the streets of Harlem with his friends, and dismantling systems of oppression. Collins-McNeil currently resides in Westchester County.
