AIM

The 2010-2012 National Executive Board is excited to AIM for greater heights. The national theme is: “Achieving Excellence, Inspiring Greatness, Motivating Our Youth to Lead and Serve! (AIM ).”

This theme will provide focus and the platform to AIM to have major community impact for children and families. Our national theme will complement our new national programming thrust for the next two years as we continue to develop our children and support our communities. With our devoted membership and new national partners we will:

AIM for healthier lifestyle for children and families

We are excited to help inspire you, your family and children in the community to achieve success in personal health. Our AIM for Healthy Living Initiative has been designed by a Task Force in collaboration with the National Program Committee.

AIM our youth for leadership development

We will continue to implement the JMB Leadership Development Modules for teens in grades 7 through 12. Chapters across the nation will AIM to have teens complete at least three leadership modules this year. We include youth from community organizations such as the local Boys and Girls Club of America when possible. These sessions are robust in content and rich in fun.

AIM youth to financial awareness and wealth

When children leave their homes for college they must be equipped with financial essentials. To do so, we will continue to focus on implementing the Jack and Jill/Merrill Lynch Financial Literacy modules for children and teens in grade 3 through 12.

All other areas of our programming (social/recreational, community service, cultural) remain essential and the program initiatives of Jack and Jill of America will continue to meet the heightened demand for our youth to be exposed to innovative leadership, skill development, enhanced academic preparation and civic engagement to achieve personal success.

Our Health Initiative will enrich the quality of life for citizens in our communities and promote self-empowerment. The thrust will allow us to have an impact within our own homes and throughout the nation.

One of the National President’s priorities is to ensure that Jack and Jill of America, Inc., is effectively branded as the premiere organization for the advancement and leadership development of children. It is important that we tell our story so that the global community understands who we are and the objectives of our organization. In that spirit, we will accomplish this by building and strengthening the partnership of all Jack and Jill stakeholders to advance our community efforts in an efficient and effective manner.

The National Executive Board in conjunction with the regional executive teams, national committees, chapter officers and members enthusiastically commit our talents, skills and resources to serve the needs of all children.

Together We AIM!
